The sail

We use a well-known sail in the world of professional kite. It is a 4 sqm pilot kite. It is an inflatable monofilament sail, without rigid reinforcement. To launch it, just inflate the boxes by facing the wind. Once inflated, it rises and flies front wind without steering.
It fits in a 1-liter bag provided with your Kiwee One. No specific folding technique, just put it straight in the bag.

The propeller

This is the central element of your Kiwee One. It consists of 2 blades and a wind vane that can be mounted and dismounted without tools. Attach the sail to the wind vane. Engage the dyneema belt on the main pulley.
The secret of Kiwee One lies here: an extremely efficient belt transmission mechanism.
The propeller floats and does not fear the water. The bearings are made of stainless steel and the structure is mainly resin.

The generator

It transform the movement of the propeller into energy by means of the dyneema belt. It also manages the different stages of Kiwee ​​one startup:

  • Unwinding and rewinding of the dyneema belt
  • Starting and stopping of the propeller
  • Rewinding
You can set it anywhere on an element of the landscape thanks to its carabiner.
The internal battery of Kiwee One is empty? You are not stuck; all operations can be done manually. There is even a handle to rewind easily if needed.

The electrical box

A true mini power grid but also the brain of Kiwee one. It is equipped with a start switch, a control button and 3 lights indicator allowing you to manage the operation of your machine. In facade, all the elements of connections made available to you:

  • 12 / 24V cigarette lighter plug
  • Terminal block 12/24 V
  • USB socket x 2
Inside, a 100Wh battery allows you to manage the amount of energy available so that you never run out of electricity.
